Even Italian translators can find it interesting to discover the way a language as unique as that used by Andrea Camilleri in his novels is translated abroad; novels that are currently enjoying enormous success all over the world. In a series of meetings organised at the University of Cagliari in February, Spanish, French, English, Catalan and Norwegian translators discussed the Sicilian author’s work with a group of Italian and foreign scholars.
