Heaney, poet of the land. Interview with Francesca Romana Paci and Marco Sonzogni

by Anna Ravano

Francesca Romana Paci and Marco Sonzogni are two of the translators into Italian of the poetry by Seamus Heaney. Explaining their work method, they reveal, not only the deep meaning of the work of this great Irish poet, but also the bonds that tie them to him and how his poetry is echoed in the works of certain 20th century Italian poets, especially Montale.
